History
Born on Bajor during the aftermath of the Cardassian Occupation, Piya Trihi grew up in a society rebuilding itself from decades of hardship. Raised in a traditional Bajoran family devoted to the teachings of the Prophets, he developed a deep respect for history, faith, and the pursuit of knowledge.
At 18, Trihi entered Starfleet Academy, quickly distinguishing himself in advanced sciences, research methodologies, and xenobiology. His academic excellence earned him recognition as a promising officer capable of bridging the gap between Bajoran philosophy and Federation science.
After graduation, he served on several exploratory and research-focused vessels, participating in first-contact missions and long-range scientific surveys. His work in stellar phenomena and exoplanetary ecosystems contributed to several published studies within Starfleet’s scientific community.
