A scholar and scientist, Vornak is still very much a warrior. Losing his left eye to a Chalnoth in single combat, he crafted an improved biotech replacement, giving him enhanced visual acuity. Serving on Ty’Gokor, he was demoted for allowing an experimental isolytic weapon test fail. In actuality, he sabotaged the test to ensure Duras did not gain such a dishonorable weapon to use against his own people who do not fall in line with his reign.
