Bravo Fleet
Summary
Riordan is a senior enlisted technician. His area of expertise is small arms, directed energy, kinetic, or other. If it’s man-portable, and anything with a handle is considered man-portable, it is in his wheelhouse.
The farms in and around the area growing up provided endless fascination as there was always something that could be taken apart, modified, or investigated. While it ended up getting him into serious trouble once, he then became skilled at fixing various things. That led to tech schools where he flourished.
Supporting his sister Caela, he initially resented being put into the spotlight on stage when he went into the lounges where she appeared. Over time, he grew to mind it less and even acquired a few fans of his banjo playing.
Hobbies: Antique weapons of all kinds. Blades. Banjo. Artistic metal work (Jewelry or embellishing/engraving) Motorcycles and fueled engines.
Appearance
Riordan has a full head of black hair due to his mixed heritage. There is very little on him that is excess and he works hard in the gym to keep toned. His skin is tan, getting darker when he stays in the field.
Standing slightly over two meters, he can be an imposing figure. Striking green eyes and a distracting smile balance any perceived fierceness. His beard is always neatly trimmed around his face when he has a beard. Uniforms are always spotless unless he is arm-deep in a weapon rebuild or assisting engineering.
Personality
Riordan is very easygoing. While he isn’t an introvert, he can seem aloof. In reality, he just isn’t paying attention.
He can be very engaging and funny. Pet peeves include sloppy maintenance and lack of attention to detail.
History
Growing up around a farm in western Idaho, he learned to weld and fabricate things by the time he was an early teen. Too young to join during the Dominion War, Riordan wants to give back and serve in Starfleet. Not content with that pastoral life, he enlisted in Starfleet at 18 against his parent’s wishes. Enlisting for an initial six years, he joined as an E3 in 2383.
By the time he was ready to re-enlist in 2389, he was promoted to E-6 shortly after in early 2390.
Attending SNCO academy, he acquired his associate’s degree and was promoted after graduation in 2394 to E-7.
He was transferred to starfleet academy as a teacher
