Summary
Marcus grew up with a path set for him. Youngest of four, his parents are both famous counselors and instructors at the academy in psychology.
His two eldest sisters were counselors on top star ships. His brother was a counselor on a starbase.
So when he arrived at college he had his classes and path at the academy to become a counselor as well.
In his second week a friend and classmate of his Amil collapsed in the dorms. Just armed with his basic first aid skills Marcus saved him.
Marcus was shaken to almost to the ground. As he watched the medical team give Amil the medical care he needed. Marcus watch in rapt attention.
After the end of his time at the academy he switched to going to Medicine rather then Counseling.
At the Medical Academy Marcus excelled in all his courses Medicine coming almost second hand.
He also learned and earned his pilot certification as well as passing his bridge officer requirements.
At graduation he was near in tears as his friend Amil pinned the Lieutenant Jg pips to his shoulders. “You are going to be a heck of a Doctor buddy.” Amil said.
His parents gifted him an antique medical bag from the Mccoy era. Marcus immediately donned it, they had stocked it with all the original contents a true sign of their acceptance of his chosen path.
Many hugs and tears later Marcus boarded a shuttle to go to his first assignment and all the adventures ahead.

Marcus is 6’6 with dark brown hair, green eyes, and a fit build
Personality
Off shift you can find Marcus in the holodeck or in the lounge, either playing the piano or just chatting with his fellow crewmates.
On shift Marcus is fully focused on the job. From the smallest cut and bruise to broken bones and surgery. He is still super friendly just a bit more stern and strict with a friendly attitude and great bedside manner.

2394-2398 Starfleet Academy and shuttlecraft/runabout pilot training. Ensign commission earned.
2398-2402 Starfleet medical and officer training awarded Lieutenant JG as a PHD.
