Location: DS 404 – Overwatch Station, CO Ready Room

It’s only day one, and Starfleet Command comes in calling her to action. Today Elsie was going to meet up with the Captain of the Paso Robles. She watched him come into the room and reported in. “Welcome Captain Guitterez.” Elsie said, with a warm smile.

“Thank you Commodore or do you prefer Ma’am?” Renato asked, not sure how to address her.” he wanted to be respectful to her feelings.

“Anything but sir.” Elsie said to him. It was the truth, she hated being called sir.

“Ma’am, it is.” Renato said, he did not want to get on her bad side. She seemed pretty reasonable, and Renato appreciates that. He has met a few unreasonable people in his time.

“How is the Paso Robles coming along, Captain?” Elsie asked, because she needed him and his ship out there delivering supplies.

“Pretty good, especially considering she was pulled from Mothballs, Ma’’am.” Renato said he was proud of the work his crew had done.

“I am happy to hear that I need the Paso Robles operational as soon as possible.” Elsie advised Renato. She decided to get straight to the point.

“Then I am happy to report, thanks to my crew, we are operational Ma’am.” Renato said, with a big grin on his face.

“I am very happy that you have the Paso Robles up and running, we need her immediately. Several ships are reporting they need supplies. We are having a hard time pin pointing there exact locations within the system, but hopefully your range sensors, can find them.” Elsie said to Renato.

“The Vaadwaur hit us hard and blinded us, but they will think twice before attacking in. The Federation held its own.” Renato said as he truly believed that. Even though there was loss of life, most of the fleet was still in tact.

“That they did, I have no idea that you will also do your best out there, Captain.” Elsie advised him, trying to build him up as well. She was proud of him, for getting the Paso Robles operational so soon.

“Will get the parts to the Fleet, Ma’am. You can count on us.” Renato said, then he went on. “Unless you need something else ma’am, I would love to get the Paso Robles going as soon as possible.”

“I have nothing else, good luck with your mission, Captain.” Elsie said as the scene starts to fade away.

Location: USS Paso Robles, Conference Room

When Renato walked into the conference room last, he can see that the whole senior staff was ready to go everybody had a cup of coffee by their side. “Thank you all for coming, as most of you know our primary mission is logistical support. Even though we took a small detour to get her a new Home Port and our Base of Operations.

Ren out to look around the room, and then he took a sip from his own cup that he had brought with him from his ready room. After he said, he put the cup down and then addressed his people. “I know we spent the last couple weeks to get to the station, and even though we are just arriving. We will not be staying long. Our first mission is to resupply the ships patrolling near Vaadwuar space. While we are not going to be directly engaging with any enemy hostile forces, we still need to be prepared on the off chance that they might come after us. So with that said, Number One, I want you to prepare a couple battle drills. Our main objective should not be to engage the enemy but to figure out a successful way of withdrawing.”

“Aye captain.” Lieutenant Commander Mira Solwick, simply said. She decided to take notes on her little data pad. She was going to schedule at least one drill for each shift to make sure that they were prepared in case they needed to engage in me long enough to retreat.

“Miss Chameer, our first round of shipments ready to go.” He walked over to the main viewer where he started to manipulate the screen to bring up an image it was a Starship.

“This is the USS Gamtree, she has requested some components and Starfleet has ordered us to Rendezvous with her at these coordinates.” Run out to set it as the screen change and showed some coordinates. It showed it was going to start system it didn’t look like it was heavily populated.

“When are we going to Rendezvous with the Gamtree?” Lira asks, wondering how much time she had to prepare the supply shipment. It was one thing to inventory stock, but it was another thing to prepare them for shipment. Not that it was difficult just a little time consuming.

“It’ll take us a day to get out there, once we do we’ll make our drop and then we’ll head back to the station and resupply and get ready to go out again.” Run out there said as he looked around to the other officers to see if anybody else had a question.

“Is there any security protocols you wish me to implement?” Jaxon asked. “I have standard measures in motion.” He was well prepared but a good security chief always asked to be certain.

“Science is ready and willing to help out where we may be needed.” Teral spoke up. “I could run diagnosis on the supplies as we travel just to ensure there are no issues.”

“Do you expect this to be without incident?” Taren asked out of curiosity.”

“I will make certain medical is ready regardless.” Aria spoke up.”

“I hate to be that girl that asks, but aren’t we worried about the Vaadwaur Supremacy?” Lira asked, as you remembered hearing news reports from the Federation News Network. We are

“We are indeed, concerned about that that’s why they’re sending shifts like the Paso Robles instead of transport vessels to deliver supplies and personnel. We are potentially going into a hostile situation, we will take every step to a limit our potential risks. But as the Ensign suggested, there is valid concern about the Vaadwaur.”

Renalto continued on. “We are late to the party, and there are several ships, that need our supplies in order to tend to the repairs. We need to get out there as soon as possible.”

“We’re ready!” Taren, the chief engineer spoke up. “We will make good time and before you know it we will be there.”

“Should they need some assistance.” Aria spoke up. “We will be here to assist with injuries.”

“There are some medical supplies that have been requested, so I have no doubt Doctor, that your services will definitely be needed. Please coordinate with our logistics team, I have no doubt that Ensign Chameer, would be grateful or any assistance you can provide.

Lira smiled as she replied. “I would be grateful indeed, as it is several shifter requesting several different things and this is only from the ones that we’ve heard from there are a lot more shifts that we have not heard from and we’re just bringing extra parts if I could have some of your guys’s help without taking away from your own teams too much it would be easier so that way I can focus with our communications team and try to reach some of those other shifts to see if we have some of the parts they need I’m also going to be coordinating with the logistics officers of the rest of the supply Fleet and try to see who has what.” She started to explain knowing that the real part of her job was about ready to begin and it was going to be a little stressful.

“I would be glad to lend a hand.” Reeve spoke up as he looked to the executive officer.

“As would I.” the science chief added. Tarek smiled as he continued. “Whatever you need.”

Not to be left out, Taren spoke up. “With things running smoothly in engineering, I can help out as well unless something should come up.

“I appreciate all of you, hard to believe just a couple of days ago we were just coming together as a crew. And now look at us, we’re getting ready to deliver supplies.” Lira sad feeling very proud. She was proud to be part of this crew, even though it was slightly out of the ordinary to have a logistics officer on a ship because most of them were assigned stations she was very proud of this crew and how easily they accepted her.

“Does anyone have any questions about our mission coming up? This is our final meeting before we engage where about 3 hours from entering the system.” Renato asked, as he looked around the room.

“Do we know if the Vaadwaur, are still in the area?” Malek the chief of the boat, asked.

“We Believe so, for the moment they’ve seen to have return to under space but that doesn’t mean that they’re necessarily gone from the area. And of course this could change at any moment, so I want tactical running continuous scams.”

“Understood captain, I’ll make sure the crew is informed. You’ll get there very best sir.” Malek suggested to Renato.

“I appreciate that COB.” Renato said, has he looked over to the chief of security, waiting for him to acknowledge the order about the continuous scans.

“I will implement continuous scans immediately, Sit.” Jaxon spoke up as soon as their was a break in the conversation. He would head off to do so right after their meeting.

“I know I have an appointment with the good doctor does anybody else have anything else they’d like to address before we start our mission or any questions about the mission?” Renato Asked as he looked around the room.

Jaxon shook his head as did the others. They were ready to pull out and deliver the supplies.

“I think we’re good. Sir.” Reece spoke up.

He was glad heading to medical wasn’t on his schedule.

Location: DS 404 – Overwatch Station, CO Quarters

“How did your meeting go, Momma?” Amber asked her mother. She was bored in her new home. Amber hoped it went well, because she wanted to go out and explore more of the station.

“It went well, Honey. The Paso Robles is ready to go.” Elsie smiled as she looked to Amber. She wondered where the two girls were.

“That is a weird name for a ship, what does it mean?” Amber asked, wondering who named it that, and oak trees?

“The Pass of Oaks, I believe.” Elsie said, as she tried to recall what she looked up earlier. Like her daughter, she thought the name was unique and was curious to know what it meant. She then asked, “Where are your sisters?”

“In the bedroom playing.” Amber said, a little annoyed. She wanted to go on the station and have a real look around.

“Should we go and get them?” Elsie asked, knowing that Amber wanted to go out and explore the new station.

“Yes Mommy, I am so bored.” Amber suggested to her mother.

“Where is the holographic nanny?” Elsie asked.

“I turned her off, she is still monitoring us in offline mode.”

“How did you turn her off?” Elsie asked. Wondering how her oldest daughter turned off the nanny. She should not be able to do that.

“Easy, I rebooted the computer and put it in diagnostic mode.” Amber said, feeling very creative with her solution.

“Why did you do that?” Elsie asked.

“She was trying to make me do things, I did not want to do. She wanted me to sing songs, seriously Mommy, you need to reprogram it for transfer the nanny from the Paladin to be on the station instead.” Amber suggested.

“I will look into it, and Amber. Do not reset the holographic system and place it in diagnostic mode again.” Elsie insisted to her daughter.

“Yes Mother.” Amber said a little defeated. She did not want to upset her mother, she knew that her mother would ground her.

“Go get your sisters, we have a station to explore.” Elsie said, as the scene fades way.
