“We shall not cease from exploration
And the end of all our exploring
Will be to arrive where we started
And know the place for the first time.”
The USS Odyssey (NCC-80000) is an Odyssey-class Federation starship and was the prototype for the class. The Odyssey is a deep space explorer known for its exploits in the Alpha and Beta Quadrants from 2387-2399. Commanded by Captain Max Duncan, the ship is one of Starfleet’s most advanced vessels operating in the fleet. The crew is also one of the most diverse, with the bulk of the crew comprising those who served on the USS Triton and the last ship named USS Odyssey. The vessel was launched in 2387. Since the start of the 25th century, it has been a critical player in Starfleet’s attempts to explore the Delta Quadrant. It is now the flagship of the Odyssey Heavy Explorer Squadron.
The ship’s motto is based on the poem by T. S. Elliot named Little Gidding.

The Odyssey Squadron is a formation centred around the USS Odyssey, which served as the prototype of the Odyssey-class heavy explorer. The squadron is assigned to the Fourth Fleet and is currently under the command of Commodore James Preston McCallister. It has been designated as a deep-space expeditionary force in the Delta Quadrant, working closely with the Delta Exploration Initiative.
Established at the end of the year 2400, the squadron received orders to proceed to the Swallow Nebula region, located beyond the Gradin Belt, to initiate re-exploration efforts. Since then, it has explored areas previously undiscovered, made contact with new species, and re-established relations with others encountered before. The Odyssey Squadron’s efforts have been vital to Starfleet’s mission in the Delta Quadrant. Through the use of hyper-subspace communication data streams, it remains in regular contact with Deep Space Nineteen, its home base.

The cavern was vast, echoing with every footstep the away team made as they descended deeper into its depths. After successfully landing the Laodamia and beaming into the cavern from the Bellerophon’s aeroshuttle, the away team was maintaining good pace. Bioluminescent moss cast eerie green [...]

The usual thrum of the warp core was absent. The silence was almost jarring as Captain Reyas stepped through the doors of the Bellerophon’s main engineering. No pulse. No soft vibrations. Just the overlapping clatter of tools, the low murmur of voices, and the occasional snap of overloaded [...]

Kneeling at the foot of his bunk, Cadet Jordan Duncan was folding the last of his uniform shirts with practiced precision. The dim lights of the cadet shared bunkroom bathed the room in a muted golden glow, casting soft shadows against the brushed steel walls. A small satchel sat open on the floor [...]

“Another thrilling briefing ahead,” Mo’Lee-Krabreii remarked dryly as she dropped into her chair at the long conference table, her eyes fixed on the holographic display in the centre of the table, which was currently blank. The Odyssey’s observation lounge was bathed in the [...]
