USS Brawley

Rest, Recovery and Training

The USS Brawley is still recovering from the Vaadwaur attack. The crew is grateful to find time to let their hair down.

Mission Description

After a trans-planar eddy sent the USS Brawley through a series of collapsing Underspace tunnels, she stumbled upon an immobile USS Morro Bay. The crew leapt into action to recover her sister ship. Orders are to tow her to Deep Space 11. Arrival will only mark the start of the crew’s work.

The starport will likely be swamped with ships needing repair and replenishment. Brawley Engineering and Operations personnel will face long shifts working on the Morro Bay and other vessels. Every hand helps. Medical staff are caring for the other California class vessel’s casualties along the voyage. This includes the warm, empathetic touch of the ship’s counseling department. All crewmembers will lend their hand if needed upon arrival.

Other departments will take the time to conduct drills and training exercises. Officers and NCOs are encouraged to use time at DS 11 to work on pending certifications or take professional development courses.

Crews are also instructed to use this time to recover. People will have time to get back into contact with family through the station’s increased communication’s range. There will also be plenty of time for socialization with the crew of several ships.
