Task Force 21 and the Fourth Fleet are rebuilding in the wake of the Vaadwaur attack. Officers have been reassigned as starships are refit and repaired. Several vessels have been pulled from distant fleet yards to supplement operations. One of these ships is the USS Cardinal.

The sensor pod toting Nebula-class has been assigned under the command of Captain Raku Mobra.  His first task is to assign and inform the crew. Everyone must work together to ensure the launch flows successfully. Officers and enlisted of the USS Morro Bay are caught in limbo, as Starfleet HQ decides her fate.

Crewmembers have time to explore Deep Space 11 between shifts. The upgraded facilities are refreshing to both battered crews after facing combat in California starships.  Orders include rest, recovery and socialization. Each member of Starfleet must gather themselves before moving forward.
