Part of Bravo Fleet: Shore Leave 2402

USS Cardinal

Shoreward Bound

Shore Leave on Janoor III

Mission Description

The USS Cardinal has finally been assigned to a period of shore leave. Crew members are ordered to refresh and refit.  Many will use the time to catch up with family, handle errands and catch up on rest. These next few weeks will provide opportunities for the crew greater than simple mundane relaxation.

The government of Janoor III is hosting “A New Day for Janoor III.” Officers and enlisted from ships across Task Force 21 will congregate to celebrate the colony’s economic development. Captain Raku and Commander Smythe hope to make political contacts while on the surface. Networking with other Fourth Fleet command staff is also a priority.

A small landing party sits just rimward of Cait on a class-L planet, where a survey of Vulcan beetles on Eldor III is underway. The Cardinal will bounce between Eldor and Janoor when necessary.  A few officers put in a request for extended leave. Lieutenant M’Row is taking a party to explore Cait.

Rejuvenation is the order of the day. The Cardinal team looks forward to downtime among Janoor III’s budding recreational facilities.
