Part of Bravo Fleet: New Frontiers

USS Morro Bay

Hēlios

T USS Morro Bay is sucked into an unstable wormhole and thrown a couple lightyears away into the Drekar System.

Mission Description

By what could seemingly be complete accident, the USS Morro Bay is sucked into an unstable wormhole and thrown a couple lightyears away into the Drekar System whilst on their way to aide in a scouting mission, a section of the Shackleton Expanse. The crew is horrified–and then very quickly divided–over the discovery of the systems dying sun and unstable wormholes. For better or for worse, the USS Morro Bay has quite the task on their shoulders: decide what could essentially be the Kaelthri’s fate.

Arc I: Inklings Of A Plan

USS Morro Bay: Hēlios

“Captain, I don’t have any official idea that this may work. You’re–this is, in my honest opinion, near impossible.” Plimmitt sighed as he walked down the hallway with Captain Dowe. “Lieutenant, you’re thinking about this too in the box.” She smiled as the turbolift came into view. [...]

Arc I: Tension

USS Morro Bay: Hēlios

Tick. Tock. Tick. Tock. Tick. Tock. Despite the desperate need for sleep, Jetta Dowe couldn’t let it find her. Consistent planning and debate with the Kaelthri had been maticlious and slow–not even considering the remaining two planets inhabitable consistently at each others throats. [...]
