The Constellation is a Constitution III-class explorer seeking to connect the dots between the mysteries of deep space exploration and uncertain diplomatic relations with the Romulan Free State.
USS Constellation is a Constitution III-class explorer assigned to the Fourth Fleet. It is currently under the command of Captain Taes. A team of civilian scientists from the Romulan Free State is permanently assigned to support the Constellation’s investigation of scientific mysteries beyond the charted edges of Federation space. Although the crew’s search for knowledge is vital, their paramount mission is to improve diplomatic relations between the United Federation of Planets and the Romulan Free State through both crews learning to work as one.
Captain Taes’ earlier adventures have been told aboard the USS Dvorak (Season One) and the USS Sarek (Season Two).

Constellation Explorer Squadron seeks to expand the boundaries of knowledge while strengthening the bonds of friendship, alliance, and loyalty. Constellation Squadron engages in this mission beyond Federation borders as well as within the decks and bulkheads of its own vessels. Charged with Starfleet’s earliest mission of exploration into the unkonwn, its crews specialise in solving scientific mysteries and parleying through diplomatic relationships. The unit is centred around the Constitution III-class USS Constellation, which has incorporated a team of Romulan Free State scientists among its crew to build a tenuous path towards alliance by coming together under a joint banner.
While Squadron Commander Taes began her mission of scientific cooperation with the Romulan Free State in September 2400 aboard the USS Sarek, the USS Constellation was launched in March 2401 at the height of the Dominion Incursion into the Deneb Sector. Subsequently, Constellation Squadron was formed in January 2401 to engage in its inaugural mission of discovery and diplomacy in the Delta Quadrant.

“It’s a fake!” The Romulan scientist known only as Ketris slammed her fist down on the bridge’s science console. She glared at the abstractly humanoid form of Automated Commander 74, transmitted onto the viewscreen. Ketris’s mission profile only described her as a [...]

Hovering out of the turbolift, Lieutenant Cellar Door returned to the bridge from his break and immediately activated his omnidirectional audio scanning. His exocomp audio receptors were far more precise than humanoid hearing, he had been told. The first analysis he conducted was to determine if [...]

In her initial moments aboard the Trabe carrier, Celestis Ascendant, Flavia ir-Llantrisant resisted the urge to palm her tricorder. She had materialised in a wide corridor panelled in metal terrazzo. She used her sight, sense of smell, and keen Romulan hearing to observe the people around her. [...]
